Tajikistan

Dushanbe, November 1, 2026 – The Europe Today: A total of 15,311 vouchers worth 32.43 million somoni were allocated during the first nine months of 2026 to support the medical treatment and health rehabilitation of trade union members in Tajikistan, using funds from the 1.5 percent state social insurance contributions.

The Independent Federation of Trade Unions of Tajikistan informed the Khovar National News Agency that the initiative was implemented in accordance with the Government of Tajikistan’s resolution on the procedure and expenditure of state social insurance funds for sanatorium and resort treatment, employee recreation, family holidays, and health improvement and preventive measures at enterprises.

The allocated vouchers are intended to enable employees to receive medical treatment and rehabilitation at sanatoriums and health resorts across the country.

The initiative aims to protect employees’ health, provide favourable conditions for recreation and rehabilitation, and help prevent various diseases.

One of the key priorities of the Independent Federation of Trade Unions is to exercise public oversight over compliance with laws and regulations governing labour relations and the protection of employees’ social interests and those of their family members.

The federation also works to ensure that employees enjoy the social rights and benefits guaranteed under the legal and regulatory framework of the Government of Tajikistan.
