Tashkent, September 23, 2024, The Europe Today: A delegation of over 20 prominent university rectors from Italy, led by the Italian Minister of Universities and Research, Anna Maria Bernini, will visit Uzbekistan from September 23 to 27.
During this visit, a joint education forum will be held in Tashkent for the first time on September 24. The event will bring together more than 20 leading Italian universities and 46 esteemed universities from Uzbekistan, fostering international collaboration in higher education.
The forum’s agenda will focus on several key areas, including student and professor exchanges, teacher training, inter-university cooperation, and support for research projects. Multiple cooperation agreements between universities from both countries are also expected to be signed, marking a significant step forward in educational collaboration.
