Rwamagana, December 14, 2024 – The Europe Today: The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has addressed a critical need for clean drinking water in Africa by supplying a school in Rwamagana, Rwanda, with a sustainable water source. The initiative is part of the Foundation’s broader “Development of Education and Culture in African Countries” project, aimed at improving living standards and education across the continent.
A water well was dug at the school, capable of providing approximately 3 tons of clean drinking water per hour, marking a transformative change for the local community, which previously depended solely on rainwater for their needs.
