Almaty, April 28, 2025 — The Europe Today: Almaty hosted the 6th Meeting of Foreign Ministers in the “Central Asia – China” format, bringing together top diplomats to discuss strengthening regional cooperation, expanding trade and mutual ties, and addressing shared challenges.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan participated in the event, which was organized with the aim of deepening dialogue and enhancing collaboration across key sectors. According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the participants unanimously affirmed the need to bolster regional security and economic integration.The discussions also highlighted the importance of developing infrastructure projects, establishing robust transport and communication networks, and advancing cooperation in environmental protection and cultural-humanitarian initiatives.
Speaking at the meeting, Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister, Bakhtiyor Saidov, emphasized his country’s commitment to further deepening comprehensive cooperation with neighboring states and China, strengthening mutual trust, and fostering the stable development of the region.“It is our firm belief that the initiatives put forward during the meeting across various spheres will benefit the common prosperity of all,” Mr. Saidov stated on his official Telegram channel.
The gathering marked another step toward reinforcing multilateral ties and shaping a shared vision for sustainable growth and regional stability.
