Dushanbe, October 11, 2026 – The Europe Today: The city-level round of the 2026 “Best Female Civil Servant” competition was held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, media reported, citing the academy.
During the first round, participants were assessed on their knowledge, skills and level of professional preparedness across several areas. They wrote an essay in the state language, completed a dictation in Russian and demonstrated their proficiency in information technology through a test.
The second round included interviews with the participants. Following the evaluation of the results, successful candidates will qualify for the national-level round of the competition.
The competition aims to support and strengthen women’s leadership and professional capacities, encourage their greater participation in public administration, and enhance their role in the development of the civil service.
It also seeks to establish a pool of highly qualified personnel by identifying and promoting talented women and girls for careers in public service.
