Doha, October 31, 2024 – The Europe Today: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to bolstering ties with Qatar during a two-day official visit, where he met with top Qatari leadership to discuss mutual interests and explore opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.
In Doha on Thursday, PM Shehbaz held delegation-level discussions with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, followed by a one-on-one meeting. According to Radio Pakistan, the two leaders reiterated their resolve to deepen strategic ties, highlighting the importance of shared economic objectives and regional stability.
The leaders reviewed the full spectrum of Pakistan-Qatar relations, identifying potential areas for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and cultural exchanges. Both sides expressed optimism in pursuing joint initiatives that could contribute significantly to economic growth and regional peace, further solidifying the enduring partnership between the two nations.
