Foreign Ministers Meet in Minsk for “Central Asia + Russia” Forum

Minsk, April 12, 2024, The Europe Today: Today, in Minsk, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov participated in the meeting of foreign ministers under the “Central Asia + Russia” format, as reported by Uzbek media.

The meeting brought together delegations from the ministries of foreign affairs of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Russia to discuss current issues of multilateral cooperation and explore proposals for enhancing economic relations and implementing promising projects.

The discussions highlighted the growing importance of addressing challenges related to “green” energy, water scarcity, and environmental issues, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to tackle these pressing concerns.
